Hey there.. I am playing version 2.08 and I cannot seem to declare war. I have followed the FAQ instructions to go to the players menu (F3) and click the cancel treaty button but I cannot even find the cancel treaty button. I can make a pact and get foreign intelligence with the nation I have met but that is all. My allied nation is asking why I have not declared war and dang I am letting my ally down. Winston Churchill never had this problem with the Germans :-). What am I doing wrong or is there a bug causing this????

- You're looking at the wrong FAQ. The correct steps for Freeciv 2.0.x is at FAQ 2.0. --Hima 23:59, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- doesn't change anything. there is simply no button or option to cancel the pact. have the same problem here. seems to be a bug in the gtk-interface --87.77.114.243 13:55, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- According to the given Debian bug report, you're running Freeciv 1.14.1. In versions prior to 2.0.0 it was not possible to conduct diplomacy with AI players, so what you're seeing is probably the intended behavior. --Hima 00:31, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
